Structured, action-based training that helps individuals build income pathways— starting with no resources.

WHO WE ARE:

Entrepreneurial Studies Group provides faith-based entrepreneurship-focused reentry programming for incarcerated and justice-impacted individuals. Our approach combines practical business training, mindset development, and real-world action steps to support successful reintegration and long-term economic stability.

Our work is informed by lived experience, including justice system impact and homelessness, allowing us to deliver programming that is credible, relatable, and grounded in real-life application.

WHAT WE DO:

We deliver a structured entrepreneurship curriculum designed to help participants:

  •
  • Identify income-generating opportunities

  • Develop business ideas with no startup capital

  • Build confidence, decision-making skills, and self-efficacy

  • Take actionable steps toward economic independence

Our program transforms learning into doing—each lesson includes guided instruction, reflection, and practical business action steps.

OUR APPROACH:

Our model is an evidence-informed, action-based learning approach aligned with established reentry and entrepreneurship training practices, including models used by organizations such as Defy Ventures, Prison to Entrepreneurs and Prison Entrepreneurship Program.

We emphasize:

  • Structured curriculum delivery

  • Behavioral and mindset development

  • Real-world application through step-by-step actions

  • Pathway to self-employment

WHO WE SERVE:

  •
  • Incarcerated individuals (in-custody programming)

  • Justice-involved individuals preparing for reentry (youth or adult)

  • Individuals facing employment barriers or economic instability

WHY IT MATTERS:

Access to income and opportunity is one of the strongest predictors of successful reentry. Our program equips participants with the tools, mindset, and practical steps needed to create legal, sustainable income pathways.
